The first edition of HARDMISSION FESTIVAL Australia (Theme: The Prophecy) will take place at the Wave Structure at Flemington Racecourse on January 6th, 2024.Get ready for an unforgettable lineup of world-class DJs and the revelation of an ancient prophecy.

Doors open at 3:00 PM and will remain open all night.

The event will operate from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.


This event is strictly for individuals aged 18 and above. Physical ID must be presented upon arrival for proof of age.

Yes, various Hardmission merchandise items will be available at the Official Merchandise Tent within the festival grounds. Please check the venue map for the exact location – the merchandise stall will operate for the entire duration of the event.


No, it’s prohibited to display banners, flyers, or posters of other event.

It is prohibited to bring in your own food and drinks, vapes, drugs, laser pointers, glass, aerosol sprays, cans, plastic pet bottles, sharp objects, and any other objects that could pose a threat to visitors at the event. Additionally, clothing displaying explicit political or social symbols or messages is prohibited. A full list of prohibited items will be available through our social media channels a few days before the event.


Flemington Racecourse – 448 Epsom Road, Flemington VIC 3031

By far the easiest way to access the event will be via the Melbourne PTV Train Network – Metro trains will offer services from Flinders Street to Flemington Racecourse. Alternative ways to get to the venue include Rideshare/Taxi and public drop-off & Pick-up zones around Flemington Racecourse. Paid parking will be available near the festival grounds for those driving to Flemington Racecourse.

There will only be one available entrance for General Admission patrons located within the Flemington Racecourse grounds. There will be an additional VIP entrance located beside the GA entrance for our VIP customers.

A dedicated entry lane is provided for those with a Disability Card or Companion Card. While the event grounds are wheelchair accessible, please note that this expansive outdoor event may involve traversing varied terrain, including turf and concrete. Ground conditions may become soft and muddy in the event of rain; exercise extra caution, and matting and signage will be strategically placed.

Hardmission is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on-site and acknowledges that some festival attendees may need to bring prescribed medicines or special foods. Please ensure all prescribed medicines are labeled with your full name and details and in their original packaging.

There will be lockers available on-site – there will be both small and large spaced lockers available for rent. These will be accessible multiple times throughout the event once hired. Please find additional details on cost and payment via the terminals on-site.

Yes, you can bring your mobile or compact digital photo/video camera with you. Professional photo/video cameras (with interchangeable lenses) are only allowed for people who have received special photo pass accreditation.

This event is a cash-less event. All payments within the festival grounds must be made through EFTPOS and payment cards.

Yes, you are allowed to smoke within the festival grounds – however, we advise patrons to avoid smoking in crowded and undercover areas to be mindful of those around us.


It is not possible to bring food and drinks onto the festival grounds. There is plenty of opportunity to eat and drink at Hardmission via our numerous Food Market vendors. 


For safety reasons, it is also NOT allowed to bring liquids onto the festival grounds (so no deodorant, deodorant rollers, hair spray, etc.)


It is prohibited to bring in drugs, laser pointers, glass, aerosol sprays, cans, plastic pet bottles, sharp objects, and other objects that could threaten visitors at the event. 

Clothing with or other visible signs of physical appearance expressing explicit political and social movements and groups are prohibited as well.

No, the name on the E-ticket does not need to match the person entering the festival. The barcode is the important verification method.
